#24-Review: Isle of Dogs

Isle of Dogs (2018) is a film by Wes Anderson who is known for films such as The Grand Budapest Hotel and Fantastic Mr. Fox. This film follows his quirky style of his other films while being unique on its own. One of the aspects that makes it so unique is that it is entirely stop motion animation.

The story revolves around a boy who is seeking his lost dog with help of  a pack of dogs on trash island. Dogs are on this island because the city where humans live are exiling them due to a canine flu.

The characters in this film are well done even though most are dogs. The dogs are voiced by some great actors such as Bill Murray, Bryan Cranston, and Scarlett Johansson.

Overall this film is a very unique film, and great to watch if you’re in the mood for something different. It has drama and humor while being a feast to look at because of the stop motion animation.

Score 8.5/10
